About Us
Honest Guidance | Smarter Coverage Decisions

Our Vision

We’re working toward a future where buying insurance doesn’t feel like a gamble. Too many people sign up for coverage without knowing what’s actually excluded, or skip coverage entirely because the terms felt impossible to decode. We want a simpler standard for this industry — one where anyone, regardless of financial background, can read a policy and understand exactly what they’re paying for.
Our Mission

Our day-to-day job is straightforward: pick a coverage topic, research it against primary sources like state insurance departments and NAIC data, and rewrite it in language a first-time buyer can follow. We don’t accept payment from insurers to shape what we publish, and we don’t rank recommendations by commission. If a coverage type has a common exclusion or a state-specific limit, we say so — even when it’s not the most flattering detail.
Our Guide

In practice, that means when you land on one of our articles, you’ll find three things every time: what a policy typically covers, what it typically doesn’t, and the specific questions worth asking a licensed agent before you sign anything. We cover auto, health, home, dental, burial, cyber, pet, and travel insurance this way — so whichever one brought you here, you’ll leave knowing more than you did when you arrived.

How We Research and Review Our Guides
Every guide on Insurance Centrik goes through the same process before it's published:
- 01
Research primary sources
We research using primary sources — state Departments of Insurance, NAIC data, and insurer policy documents — rather than rewriting other blog articles.
- 02
Write in plain language
We write in plain language, avoiding industry jargon unless we explain it first.
- 03
Review for accuracy
A second team member reviews each article for accuracy before it goes live.
- 04
Revisit and update
We revisit and update guides periodically as state rules, coverage options, or costs change.
